عندَنا في مدينةِ الشَّمسِ بُرجٌ

عندَنا في مدينةِ الشَّمسِ بُرجٌ

بُرجُها عندَهُ ضئيلٌ حقيرُ

بُرجُها عندَهُ ضئيلٌ حقيرُ

We have a tower in the City of the Sun;

beside it, the sun's own tower is small and lowly.

ليسَ للشَّمسِ في السَّماءِ نظيرٌ

ليسَ للشَّمسِ في السَّماءِ نظيرٌ

ولهذا في الأرضِ ليسَ نظيرُ

ولهذا في الأرضِ ليسَ نظيرُ

The sun has no equal in the sky,

and this tower has no equal on earth.

أعظَمُ المُعجزاتِ أيسَرُ شيءٍ

أعظَمُ المُعجزاتِ أيسَرُ شيءٍ

منهُ باعُ المُلوكِ عنهُ قصيرُ

منهُ باعُ المُلوكِ عنهُ قصيرُ

The greatest of miracles is the simplest thing

about it; the reach of kings falls short of it.

آيةٌ في صحيفةِ الدَّهرِ مِنها

آيةٌ في صحيفةِ الدَّهرِ مِنها

كلُّ حرفٍ يقولُ جلَّ القديرُ

كلُّ حرفٍ يقولُ جلَّ القديرُ

A marvel on the page of time, whose

every letter declares: “Exalted is the Almighty!”
