بني الخورِيْ اُسْطِفانُ حُبيْشَ داراً

لكلِّ كريم قومٍ إذ يَزورُ

لكلِّ كريم قومٍ إذ يَزورُ

The priest Istifan Hubaysh built a house

Bani Al Khouri Ostaifan built a house

For every noble man of any people, when he visits.

For each generous member of their clan, should they pay a visit

ولمَّا أشرَقَتْ لمؤرِّخيها

ولمَّا أشرَقَتْ لمؤرِّخيها

زَهَتْ بجمالِها السَّامي غزيرُ

زَهَتْ بجمالِها السَّامي غزيرُ

And when it shone for its chroniclers,

When its history dawned auspiciously

Ghazir became resplendent with its lofty beauty.

Its sublime beauty was made manifest by its plentiful waters
