لقد حلَّ الأمينُ ضريحَ مجدٍ

سَقَى صَفحاتهِ مَطَرُ العُيونِ

سَقَى صَفحاتهِ مَطَرُ العُيونِ

Al-Amin has come to rest in a tomb of glory;

The rain of eyes has watered its sides.

أميرٌ مِن بني رسلانَ والٍ

أميرٌ مِن بني رسلانَ والٍ

على لُبنانَ بالحقِّ المُبينِ

على لُبنانَ بالحقِّ المُبينِ

A prince of Banu Raslan, a governor

Over Lebanon with manifest justice.

ثَوَى في ساحةٍ بحِمَى إمامٍ

ثَوَى في ساحةٍ بحِمَى إمامٍ

غَدَت حَرَماً لأصحابِ اليمينِ

غَدَت حَرَماً لأصحابِ اليمينِ

He lies in a precinct under an imam's protection,

Which became a sanctuary for the companions of the right hand.

فقالَ مؤرِّخوهُ لقد تَلاقَى

فقالَ مؤرِّخوهُ لقد تَلاقَى

إمامُ الحقِّ بالرُّوح الأمينِ

إمامُ الحقِّ بالرُّوح الأمينِ

So his chroniclers said: 'Indeed, there have come together

The Imam of Truth and the Faithful Spirit.'
