وَقالَت بِالغَديرِ غَدير خُم

وَقالَت بِالغَديرِ غَدير خُم

أَخيّ إِلى مَتى هذا الركوب

أَخيّ إِلى مَتى هذا الركوب

And she said at the pool, the pool of Khumm:

At Ghadir Khum she said:

My dear brother, how long will this riding last?

My brother, how long will this journey last?

أَلَم تَرَ إِنَّني ما دُمت فينا

أَلَم تَرَ إِنَّني ما دُمت فينا

أَنامُ وَلا أَنامُ إِذا تَغيب

أَنامُ وَلا أَنامُ إِذا تَغيب

Have you not seen that I, as long as you are among us,

Don't you see that as long as I am with you

sleep, but do not sleep when you are away?

I can neither sleep nor rest when you are gone.
