تَعصيyou disobey الإِلَهَGod وَأَنتَwhile you تُظهِرُyou show حُبَّهُlove for Him
تَعصي الإِلَهَ وَأَنتَ تُظهِرُ حُبَّهُ
هَذاthis لَعَمرُكَby your life فيin المَقالِspeech بَديعُstrange
هَذا لَعَمرُكَ في المَقالِ بَديعُ
You disobey God while showing love for Him.
This, by your life, is a strange thing to say.
لَوif كُنتَyou were تَصدُقُare sincere in حُبَّهُlove for Him لَأَطَعتَهُyou would surely obey Him
لَو كُنتَ تَصدُقُ حُبَّهُ لَأَطَعتَهُ
إِنَّindeed المُحِبَّthe lover لِمَنto the one whom يُحِبُّhe loves مُطيعُobedient
إِنَّ المُحِبَّ لِمَن يُحِبُّ مُطيعُ
If you were sincere in your love for Him, you would obey Him.
Indeed, the lover is obedient to the one he loves.
