At the drinking feast stands a maiden borne upon wood,
Her father was neither jinn nor human.
Her father was neither a jinn nor a human.
Whose father was neither Jinn nor humankind.

She stood on a single leg out of awe of him.
She stood on one leg out of fear of him
She stands upon a single leg in reverence of him,
And she does not understand what she does or what she leaves undone.
And cannot comprehend what she does or doesn't do.
And comprehends not what she does nor what she leaves undone.
