وأقبلَ بسطام بأرسانِ مَن غَوى

وأقبلَ بسطام بأرسانِ مَن غَوى

ومن يغِوِ أو يَخطَأ فليس يلامُ

ومن يغِوِ أو يَخطَأ فليس يلامُ

And Bistam came with the halters of those who had gone astray.

And came Bostan with the horses of those who err,

And whoever goes astray or errs is not to be blamed.

Whoever strays or makes a mistake is not to be blamed.
