1. يَجِبْ حَذْفُ مُتْعلّقاتِ الظُّروفْ

    كَذَا كُلُّ ما خَفَضَتْهُ الْحُرُوفْ

    The governors of adverbials must be omitted,

    As must those of whatever the prepositions put in the genitive,

  2. بِبابِ الصِّلاتِ وأَمْثالِهم

    مَعَ الحالِ فاعْلَم بهِ والْوُصُوفْ

    In relative clauses and their like,

    Along with circumstantial expressions—know this—and adjectival descriptions;

  3. وَرفْعُ الظواهِرِ تَفْسِيرُها

    كذَا خَبَرٌ قَسَمٌ بالحُروفْ

    Also when governing overt nouns in the nominative or serving an explanatory role,

    Likewise as a predicate, or in an oath introduced by particles.
