ما عَزَّ ذُو الباطِل كَلاّ وَلاَ

ما عَزَّ ذُو الباطِل كَلاّ وَلاَ

قَدْ ذَلَّ ذُو الْحَقِّ منَ الْعالَمِ

قَدْ ذَلَّ ذُو الْحَقِّ منَ الْعالَمِ

The bearer of falsehood has never known honor—no, never.

Never has the upholder of falsehood attained honor—no, nor

The bearer of truth has indeed been abased by the world.

has the upholder of truth among mankind been abased.

بِذَا جَرَتْ عَادَاتُ رَبِّ السَّما

بِذَا جَرَتْ عَادَاتُ رَبِّ السَّما

فانْتَظِرِ الثّأْرَ عَلَى الظّالِمِ

فانْتَظِرِ الثّأْرَ عَلَى الظّالِمِ

Thus run the ways of the Lord of heaven;

Such have been the ways of the Lord of heaven;

so await retribution against the oppressor.

so await vengeance upon the oppressor.
