عَلَمَ الدّينِ مَنْ غَدا باتِّفاقٍ

عَلَمَ الدّينِ مَنْ غَدا باتِّفاقٍ

فَذَّ جِيلِ التَّحقيقِ في العَرَبيَّهْ

فَذَّ جِيلِ التَّحقيقِ في العَرَبيَّهْ

O ʿAlam al-Dīn, who has become, by common consent,

He who rose at dawn out of concurrence

Peerless among the generation of rigorous scholars in Arabic,

Has excelled the generation of investigation in Arabic

وكَذا في الأُصُولِ والصَّرْفِ والتَّفْ

وكَذا في الأُصُولِ والصَّرْفِ والتَّفْ

سيرِ ثُمَّ المسائِلِ الفِقْهيَّهْ

سيرِ ثُمَّ المسائِلِ الفِقْهيَّهْ

And likewise in legal principles, morphology, and ex-

As well as in principles, morphology, interpretation

egesis, then questions of jurisprudence:

إنَّ إنْجازَ ذَلِكَ الوعْدِ مِنْكُمْ

إنَّ إنْجازَ ذَلِكَ الوعْدِ مِنْكُمْ

هُوَ واللهِ عِنْدِيَ الأمْنِيَّهْ

هُوَ واللهِ عِنْدِيَ الأمْنِيَّهْ

Indeed, your fulfillment of that promise

Verily fulfilling that promise from you
