The clouds still loom over his horizon,
Pouring, streaming, full to the brim.
Bearing down with pregnant heaviness.

For its qat is sustenance for the hearts that
Their rain nourishes hearts too delicate
Are enamored of it because of their delicate temperament.
To weather the storms of nature unchecked.

God be praised for the day we alighted there!
One day we arrived and pitched camp here.
How sweet its impression was to us!
How sweet a resting place we happened upon!
