أَلاَ بلِّغا عَنّي العِمادَ بأَنّها

أَلاَ بلِّغا عَنّي العِمادَ بأَنّها

جَرَتْ بانْتِصارِ الحَقّ فيناَ المقادِرُ

جَرَتْ بانْتِصارِ الحَقّ فيناَ المقادِرُ

Listen, you two: tell al-ʿImād on my behalf that

Tell Al-Imād that destiny

the decrees of fate have brought about truth’s triumph among us.

Has turned in our favor, upholding what is right,

وضَاقَتْ عَلَى دَاعِي الضَّلالِ مَوارِدُ

وضَاقَتْ عَلَى دَاعِي الضَّلالِ مَوارِدُ

الضَّلالِ كما ضَاقَتْ علَيْهِ الْمَصَادِرُ

الضَّلالِ كما ضَاقَتْ علَيْهِ الْمَصَادِرُ

And narrowed for the caller to error are the paths into

While the ways to misguidance

error, just as the paths out have narrowed for him.

Have narrowed for its advocate, as have the sources.
