I am a man; my grandfather bears witness to my glory.

Ask whomever you have met, for he does not deny it.

He who once sat above the star—

And high honor and eminence have awakened me to it—

Do you think he would flee the vicissitudes of fate?

My fate did not know that I am steadfast

In the face of its calamities; so let it fear the terror of my combat.
