مَهَبُّ رِياحٍ سَدَّهُ بِجَناحِ

مَهَبُّ رِياحٍ سَدَّهُ بِجَناحِ

وقَابَل بالْمِصْباحِ ضَوْءَ صَبَاحِ

وقَابَل بالْمِصْباحِ ضَوْءَ صَبَاحِ

He blocked the winds’ passage with a wing,

A gentle breeze closed its wings

And faced the light of morning with the lamp.

And met the lamp's light with the morning's glow
