وَمَتى أقُومُ بشُكْرِ ما خَوَّلْتَني

وَمَتى أقُومُ بشُكْرِ ما خَوَّلْتَني

منْ هَذِهِ النِّعَمِ التي لا تُحْصَرُ

منْ هَذِهِ النِّعَمِ التي لا تُحْصَرُ

And when can I give due thanks for what you have bestowed on me,

When will I give thanks for what You have given me

of these blessings that cannot be counted?

Of these endless blessings that cannot be counted

بَلْ لا أقُومُ بشُكْرِ أَدْنَاهَا وإنْ

بَلْ لا أقُومُ بشُكْرِ أَدْنَاهَا وإنْ

أفْنَيْتُ عُمْري كُلَّهُ لَكَ أَشْكُرُ

أفْنَيْتُ عُمْري كُلَّهُ لَكَ أَشْكُرُ

Rather, I cannot give due thanks for even the least of them, even if

لَوْ كانَ لِي مِلءُ السَّما والأَرْضِ أَفْ

لَوْ كانَ لِي مِلءُ السَّما والأَرْضِ أَفْ

وَاهاً لَكَانَتْ عِنْدَ شُكْرِكَ تَقْصُرُ

وَاهاً لَكَانَتْ عِنْدَ شُكْرِكَ تَقْصُرُ

If I had heaven and earth filled with

If I had the heavens and the earth filled up

mouths, they would still fall short of thanking you.

Alas, that would still fall short in thanking You

مالِي سِوَى ذَا الاِعْترافِ وَسِيلَةٌ

مالِي سِوَى ذَا الاِعْترافِ وَسِيلَةٌ

وبِهِ يَدُومُ وعِنْدَهُ يَتَكَثَّرُ

وبِهِ يَدُومُ وعِنْدَهُ يَتَكَثَّرُ

I have no means but this acknowledgment;

I have nothing but this admission as my means

through it, bounty endures, and with it grows more abundant.

And through it, it endures, and through it, it multiplies
