لا تَرجُ ذا نقصٍ ولو أصبَحت

من دُونه في الرُّتبةِ الشّمسُ

من دُونه في الرُّتبةِ الشّمسُ

Do not place your hopes in one who is flawed, even if

the sun should come to rank beneath him.

كَيوَانُ أعلى كوكبٍ مَوضعاً

كَيوَانُ أعلى كوكبٍ مَوضعاً

وَهوَ إِذ أنصَفتَهُ نَحسُ

وَهوَ إِذ أنصَفتَهُ نَحسُ

Saturn is the highest planet in position,

Yet, when you judge it fairly, it is ill-omened.
