مَن رامَ أَن يَركَبَ العَلياءَ تَخدمُه

مَن رامَ أَن يَركَبَ العَلياءَ تَخدمُه

فَليبَذُلِ المالَ فَالعليا بها خَلفُ

فَليبَذُلِ المالَ فَالعليا بها خَلفُ

Whoever wishes to mount the heights and have them serve him,

Whoever wishes to mount the heights is served

let him give freely of his wealth, for in those heights lies recompense.

By spending money, for the heights have a price

مَن يَبتَغي المَجدَ فَليَبذُلْ تَواضُعَه

مَن يَبتَغي المَجدَ فَليَبذُلْ تَواضُعَه

فَفي التواضُعِ يُبنى العِزُّ وَالشّرَفُ

فَفي التواضُعِ يُبنى العِزُّ وَالشّرَفُ

Whoever seeks glory, let him freely show his humility,

Whoever seeks glory should relinquish pride

for in humility, dignity and honor are built.

For in humility lies honor and nobility
