When the water of the cheek’s sky grew sweet,
The cheek's sky water when it descended
it brought forth basil, delicate in growth.
Grew sweet basil, gentle of growth
فَقُلتُso I said لِلرَّيحانِto the basil مُستفهِماًinquiring
فَقُلتُ لِلرَّيحانِ مُستفهِماً

So I said to the basil, inquiring:
So I asked the basil, inquiring,
“Whose son are you?” It said, “The son of the sky’s water.”
"Whose son are you?" He said, "Son of the sky's water."
