    Through one like you, Eid has indeed become a feast for us.

    For that reason, we congratulated Eid on having you.

    And Eid, happy through you, has shone resplendent,

    And through you it has indeed become auspicious and praiseworthy.

    Your radiant days are blessed feasts,

    And may all of them remain fortunate through you forever.

    O sun of the vizierate, may you never vanish or set,

    And may the light of its eminence always endure.

    May God bring it back to you, our lord, without

    Any limit by which it might be bounded through the ages.

    وَأَنتَ مُستوجب بِالعيدِ تَعييدا

    At this feast, I congratulate you with Eid greetings and felicitations;

    And you deserve festive greetings at Eid.

    May the tower of eminence, O its sun, ever in honor

    Grow through you, more firmly built as the days pass.

    And may the realm of might, through you, never cease throughout time

    To attain perpetuity through you across the long ages.

    And may the banner of glory, through you, never cease throughout time

    To attain victory and support through might.

    دامَت بِها الدّهرَ أَيّام العِدى سودا

    White is the banner; its days are white and radiant;

    Through it, may the foes' days remain black forever.

    So that when the enemies saw it fluttering,

    They fled, seeking the wasteland and the desert.

    And remain sheltered in the shade of God's protection,

    And may it stay stretched over you for all time.

    And may you keep ascending the ranks of lofty eminence,

    And may your adversary remain subdued by you for all time,

    حَلّى بِهِ الغصنُ في رَوضِ الرّبى جيدا

    As long as a necklace of flowers, outshining pearls in its array,

    Adorns the branch's neck in the garden of the hills;

    ما أَحسَنَ الوُرقُ فَوقَ الغصنِ تَغريدا

    As long as a branch sways, bent by the breeze of the east wind;

    As long as the gray doves sing beautifully above the branch;

    As long as al-Fath says, when congratulating Your Excellency:

    Through one like you, Eid has indeed become a feast for us.
