الظّرفُ فيكَ كَثير

الظّرفُ فيكَ كَثير

وَالشّينُ فيكَ قَليلُ

وَالشّينُ فيكَ قَليلُ

There is much charm in you.

There's much good in you

And there is little ugliness in you.

And little evil in you

إِن كُنتَ خِلّي قَصيراً

إِن كُنتَ خِلّي قَصيراً

فَفيكَ شَيءٌ طَويلُ

فَفيكَ شَيءٌ طَويلُ

If you are short, my dear friend,

If you're lacking in stature

Then something in you is long.

You have much inner strength
