لِلأرضِ إِعجاباً عَلى أَترابِها
She let down her tresses, rippling behind her,
She let down her tresses, they wave behind,
Down to the ground, in pride over her peers.
As in wonder of earth and the rivals around.

So guard your heart against the tresses, for they
From those tresses take heed, for they spread nets the most fine -
