اُسجُدْ وَجُدْ تَحظَ بِعزِّ الدُّنى

اُسجُدْ وَجُدْ تَحظَ بِعزِّ الدُّنى

وَعَزِّ أُخراكَ ونَيلِ السُّعودِ

وَعَزِّ أُخراكَ ونَيلِ السُّعودِ

Prostrate yourself and give freely—you will attain the glory of this world,

Prostrate yourself and be generous; you will attain worldly glory,

and the glory of your hereafter; and gain noble eminence.

and glory in your hereafter, and the attainment of good fortune.

فَإِنَّ في جودِكَ عزَّ الدُّنى

فَإِنَّ في جودِكَ عزَّ الدُّنى

وعِزّ أُخراك بفعلِ السُّجودِ

وعِزّ أُخراك بفعلِ السُّجودِ

For in your generosity lies the glory of this world,

For worldly glory lies in your generosity,

and the glory of your hereafter lies in the act of prostration.
