أيا ربُّ حسنَ التخلُّصِ ممّا

أيا ربُّ حسنَ التخلُّصِ ممّا

بُليتُ فَذا مُنتَهى الأمَلِ

بُليتُ فَذا مُنتَهى الأمَلِ

O Lord, grant me a good deliverance from what

O Lord, grant me the beauty of deliverance

I have been afflicted with; for this is my utmost hope.

From what has afflicted me, for that is the extent of my hope.

فَإِنّي وَأَنتَ العَليمُ بِنا

فَإِنّي وَأَنتَ العَليمُ بِنا

لَقَد ضِقتُ ذَرْعاً وَلا صَبرَ لي

لَقَد ضِقتُ ذَرْعاً وَلا صَبرَ لي

For I—and You know all about us—

You and I, You know full well,

have indeed reached the limits of endurance, and have no patience left.

I am utterly weary, and have no more patience.
