وَجْهُ حِبّي جنّةٌ حلَّ بها

كُلُّ نورٍ مُشرِقٍ وَاِقْتَرَنا

كُلُّ نورٍ مُشرِقٍ وَاِقْتَرَنا

My beloved’s face is a paradise wherein have settled

All radiant lights, joined together.

رَشأٌ يَرنو بِلَحظٍ غَنِجٍ

رَشأٌ يَرنو بِلَحظٍ غَنِجٍ

فَسَبى عَقلَ الوَرى وَقتَ رَنا

فَسَبى عَقلَ الوَرى وَقتَ رَنا

A young gazelle gazes with a coquettish glance,

And so he captivated the minds of humankind the moment he gazed.
