جُزيتَ عَليّ بنَ أَسعدَ خَيراً

جُزيتَ عَليّ بنَ أَسعدَ خَيراً

وَمَنَّ عَليكَ الإِلهُ بِقُربِكْ

وَمَنَّ عَليكَ الإِلهُ بِقُربِكْ

May you be rewarded with good, Ali ibn As‘ad,

Ali ibn Asaad, you have been rewarded with good

and may God bless you with nearness to Him.

And God has blessed you with His nearness

بَنيتَ لِذكرِ الإِلهِ مَحلّاً

بَنيتَ لِذكرِ الإِلهِ مَحلّاً

لِأَجلِ الصّلاةِ بِإِخلاصِ قَلبِك

لِأَجلِ الصّلاةِ بِإِخلاصِ قَلبِك

You built a place for the remembrance of God,

You built a place for remembrance of God

for prayer, with the sincerity of your heart.

With sincerity of heart for prayer

فَجاءَ بَديعاً يقرُّ العُيون

فَجاءَ بَديعاً يقرُّ العُيون

وَلِلذّكرِ يَدعو عَلى وفقِ إِرْبك

وَلِلذّكرِ يَدعو عَلى وفقِ إِرْبك

So it proved splendid, delighting the eyes,

So it came beautifully pleasing eyes

and it calls to remembrance, in keeping with your wish.

And calling to remembrance in harmony with your purpose

يَقولُ أَلا اِدخُل وَأَرّخ هَلُمَّ

يَقولُ أَلا اِدخُل وَأَرّخ هَلُمَّ

وَقُم بِاِنشِراحٍ فَصلِّ لِربّك

وَقُم بِاِنشِراحٍ فَصلِّ لِربّك

It says: "Behold, enter and record the date: come,

It says come, enter and move forward

and stand with gladness, then pray to your Lord."

And stand with serenity, pray to your Lord
