إِنَّindeed الجَهولَthe fool بِرَأيِهِwith his own opinion اِستِغناؤُهُhis self-sufficiency
إِنَّ الجَهولَ بِرَأيِهِ اِستِغناؤُهُ
وَبِرَأيِهِand with his own opinion منwhoever يَستَبِدُّacts alone مُخاطرُa risk-taker
وَبِرَأيِهِ من يَستَبِدُّ مُخاطرُ
Indeed, the fool finds his own opinion sufficient;
The ignorant man is self-sufficient with his opinion,
and whoever acts on his own judgment alone takes a risk.
And with his opinion whoever is arbitrary is at risk.
وَأَخوand a man of الحِجىwisdom لاdoes not يَستَبِدُّact alone بِرَأيِهِwith his own opinion
وَأَخو الحِجى لا يَستَبِدُّ بِرَأيِهِ
مِمّاbecause of what يَخافُhe fears مِنَof الخَطاerror ويحاذِرُand guards against
مِمّا يَخافُ مِنَ الخَطا ويحاذِرُ
And a man of wisdom does not act on his own judgment alone,
The man of wisdom does not impose his opinion,
because he fears error and guards against it.
Fearing mistakes and cautious of error.
