In passion, my heart has indeed tasted the flavor of her love.
My heart has truly tasted the flavor of her love,
For it has tasted manna unlike any sweet.
So it has tasted a sweetness sweeter than any candy.
تَعَوَّدَهُgrew accustomed to it قَلبيmy heart فَماso did not ذاقَtaste غَيرهُanything other than it

My heart has grown accustomed to it and has tasted nothing else.
My heart grew accustomed, so it would taste nothing else,
So how can the heart taste forgetfulness in its love for her?
How could the heart in loving her taste bitterness?
