وَجَفا أَخا العِشقِ العَجيبِ الأَغربِ

وَجَفا أَخا العِشقِ العَجيبِ الأَغربِ

How strange that one should draw close to someone free of love,

How strange is he who attained the friend of passion

And shun the companion of wondrous, most extraordinary love!

Yet was unkind to the wondrous, marvelous brother of love

لَيسَ التطبُّبُ لِلصّحيحِ وَإِنّما

لَيسَ التطبُّبُ لِلصّحيحِ وَإِنّما

يَجِبُ التطبُّبُ لِلعَليلِ الموصَبِ

يَجِبُ التطبُّبُ لِلعَليلِ الموصَبِ

Medical treatment is not for the healthy; rather,

Medicine is not for the healthy but rather

Medical treatment is required for the sick and suffering.

It is a must for the sick and afflicted one
