يا حُسنَها خيريّة أَوصى بِها

يا حُسنَها خيريّة أَوصى بِها

حَتّى لَهُ بِالخَيرِ ربّي يَختمُ

حَتّى لَهُ بِالخَيرِ ربّي يَختمُ

How lovely it is—a charitable gift he bequeathed,

O her beauty, Khiriyyah I instructed with it

so that my Lord may grant him a good end.

Until for him with goodness my Lord concludes

أَوصى بِها السرّاج وَهوَ مُحمَّدٌ

أَوصى بِها السرّاج وَهوَ مُحمَّدٌ

لا زالَ في رَوضِ الجِنان ينعّمُ

لا زالَ في رَوضِ الجِنان ينعّمُ

Al-Sarraj, who is Muhammad, bequeathed it;

I instructed with it As-Sarraj and he is Muhammad

may he ever be granted bliss in the meadows of Paradise.

He does not cease to be in the garden of bliss enjoying

يا شارِبونَ يَحقّ أَن تَدعوا لَهُ

يا شارِبونَ يَحقّ أَن تَدعوا لَهُ

أَرّخ بِها وَعَليهِ أَن تَتَرحَّموا

أَرّخ بِها وَعَليهِ أَن تَتَرحَّموا

O drinkers, it is fitting that you pray for him.

O you who drink it is right that you invoke for him

Record its date with this: “And you should invoke mercy upon him.”

Date it with it and upon him you should have mercy
