اللَّهُGod يَفعَلُdoes ماwhat يَشاHe wills
اللَّهُ يَفعَلُ ما يَشا
وَالمَوتُand death يَكفيsuffices واعِظاas an admonisher
وَالمَوتُ يَكفي واعِظا
God does what He wills.
And death suffices as an admonisher.
وَالأَمرُand the matter قَطعاًsurely فيin يَديthe two hands of
وَالأَمرُ قَطعاً في يَدي
هِHim فَكُنْso be لِذاكَof that مُلاحظاmindful
هِ فَكُنْ لِذاكَ مُلاحظا
And the matter is surely in the hands
of Him; so be mindful of that.
وَإِلَيهِand to Him سَلِّمْsubmit وَاِتّكِلْand rely
وَإِلَيهِ سَلِّمْ وَاِتّكِلْ
فَاللَّهُfor God خَيرٌbest حافِظاas a guardian
فَاللَّهُ خَيرٌ حافِظا
And submit to Him and rely on Him.
For God is the best guardian.
