مَهلاً عَلَيَّ بِسَيلِ الجودِ وَالنِّعمِ

مَهلاً عَلَيَّ بِسَيلِ الجودِ وَالنِّعمِ

أَغرَقتَني مِنناً يا ديمَة الكَرمِ

أَغرَقتَني مِنناً يا ديمَة الكَرمِ

Be gentle with me in this torrent of bounty and blessings.

You have drowned me in favors, O gentle, steady rain of generosity.

أَفنَيتُ شُكريَ ذا جدٍّ وَمجتهداً

أَفنَيتُ شُكريَ ذا جدٍّ وَمجتهداً

فَما كَفى نِعمةً مِن تِلكُمُ النّعمِ

فَما كَفى نِعمةً مِن تِلكُمُ النّعمِ

I have exhausted my gratitude, earnestly and diligently,

Yet it has not sufficed for a single one of those blessings.
