قبل الصلاة فقد اشفى على التلف

O you who are love itself and all I seek, grant a lovesick man union,

Before the prayer, for he is on the brink of death.

عدني بوصل فإن السقم أقعدني

عدني بوصل فإن السقم أقعدني

وإن دائي ابن ودي إن وصلت شفى

وإن دائي ابن ودي إن وصلت شفى

Promise me union, for sickness has left me bedridden.

And indeed, my ailment is the child of my love; if you grant union, it will heal.
