Let homelands fade away, if you are wise.

And fly in search of sustenance, found wherever you may be.

And do not gaze longingly toward a homeland and kin,

Nor yearn for a companion you have grown fond of.

For you will find a replacement for the abode of hatred,

There you will gain eminence when one day you become known.

And a person's death is better than remaining

Where humiliation has befallen the noble.

And all people are kin to the free,

And the best of kin are those you have moved away from.
