Burden your heart with what it can bear, and do not be

Sorrowful, for sorrow cannot be borne.

How many a pauper has had wealth at his door by evening!

And how often destitution has cast him upon the dust!

And be content with your sustenance so long as it suffices you, for

These provisions are but a traveler's fare.

And people are like caravan riders who, when they journey by night,

Sleep, yet their mounts are driven onward.
