صِل خَمرَةً بِخِمارِ

Join wine to a hangover,

Join a wine-flask with a veil,

And join a hangover to wine;

And join a veil with wine.

وَخُذ بِحَظِّكَ مِنها

وَخُذ بِحَظِّكَ مِنها

زاداً إِلى حَيثُ تَدري

زاداً إِلى حَيثُ تَدري

And take your share of it

Take your share of enjoyment from it,

As provisions for where you know.

As provision on your journey wherever you are going.
