Sol 6.1

  1. هَذي لَعمرُك راية مَرفوعةٌ

    بيد السُعود يُقِلُّها التَوفيقُ

    This, by your life, is a banner raised high,

    In the hand of good fortune, borne aloft by success.

  2. رُفِعَت عَلى خَير المُلوك محمّد

    ملكٌ إِلى كُلّ الجَمال سَبُوقُ

    It was raised over the best of kings, Muhammad,

    A king who leads the way toward all that is beautiful.

  3. خضِلُ البنان بِنائل مِن دُونه

    وَجهٌ يَجُول البِشر فيهِ طَليقُ

    His fingertips are moist with bounty, preceded by

    A cheerful face where gladness roams.

  4. وَرثَ الإِمامة كابِراً عَن كابرٍ

    عالي المجادة بِالعَلاءِ خَليقُ

    He inherited the imamate, a noble heir to a noble forebear,

    Lofty in nobility, worthy of eminence.

  5. أفضَت إِلَيهِ خِلافَةٌ نَبَويّةٌ

    مِن دُونِها للمشرَفِيِّ بَرِيقُ

    A prophetic caliphate has passed to him,

    Before which the Mashrafi sword gleams.

  6. فَرِحَت بِبيعته القُلوب فَلَم يمِل

    مِنها إِلى أَحد سِواه فَريقُ

    Hearts rejoiced at pledging allegiance to him; nor inclined

    Any faction among them toward anyone but him.

  7. فَاِختالَ مِنبَرُها بِهِ وَسَريرُها

    وَكِلاهُما طرِبٌ إِليهِ مَشُوقُ

    So its pulpit and its throne swelled with pride in him,

    And both rejoiced, yearning for him.

  8. فالآنَ قرَّت في مُعَرَّسِها الَّذي

    يَسمُو بِهِ نَسَبٌ أِعزُّ عَريقُ

    So now it has settled in its resting place, which

    Is exalted by a most noble, deep-rooted lineage,

  9. وَمناقِبٌ يَزداد طُولاً عِندَها

    باعٌ بِتَصريف الأُمور لبيقُ

    And virtues that further lengthen

    An arm adept at managing affairs,

  10. وَشمائِلٌ رسخت بِهنَّ مِن العُلا

    في منبِت الشَرف الأَصيل عُروقُ

    And qualities through which the roots of eminence took firm hold

    In the soil of true honor.
