ثلاثٌ إذا ما المرءُ في الدهر حازها

ثلاثٌ إذا ما المرءُ في الدهر حازها

يعشْ في ذرَى العلياء والعّز والأمنِ

يعشْ في ذرَى العلياء والعّز والأمنِ

Three things—if a person acquires them in life,

Three things, when one possesses them,

he will live on the heights of eminence, honor, and security:

bring life at its peak with glory, honor, and peace -

عفافٌ وتقوى اللهِ في كلِّ حالةٍ

عفافٌ وتقوى اللهِ في كلِّ حالةٍ

وبذلُ جزيل لا يكدَّر بالمنِّ

وبذلُ جزيل لا يكدَّر بالمنِّ

chastity and reverence for God in every circumstance,

Chastity, piety towards God in every situation,

and bountiful giving, untainted by reproachful reminders of favors.

And open generosity that remains untainted by favors.
