Sol 6.1

  1. قد قال قومٌ بأن الخيرَ مجتمعٌ

    عند التأنِّي وذو التعجيل مذمومُ

    Some people have said that goodness is gathered

    in deliberation, and the hasty person is blameworthy.

  2. وبعضُهم قالَ في التعجيلِ محمدةٌ

    وذُو التوانِي من الإحسانِ مَحْرُومُ

    And some of them have said: in haste there is cause for praise,

    and the sluggish person is deprived of goodness.
