أَخَذنا بِحَبلِ اليُسرِ وَاِنقَطَعَ العُسرُ
When the white camels bear us to Yahya ibn Khalid,
When the pale camels bring us to Yahya ibn Khalid,
We shall grasp the cord of ease, and hardship will be cut off.
We shall grasp the rope of ease, and hardship will cease.

Our eyes aspire toward him, while between him and us
Our eyes rose toward him, and between us and him
Are trackless deserts where travel destroys the she-camels.
Lie trackless deserts where travel slays the she-camels.
فَإِنso if نَشكُرُwe give thanks for النُعمىthe bounty الَّتيwhich عَمَّناhe favored us all بِهاwith it
فَإِن نَشكُرُ النُعمى الَّتي عَمَّنا بِها

If we thank him for the bounty with which he has enfolded us,
So if we give thanks for the bounty he bestowed on us all,
Then, as long as we live, gratitude to him is our duty.
Then gratitude to him is our duty as long as we live.
