لِلَّهِto God دَرُّكِyour excellence ياO عَقيلَةَnoble lady جَعفَرٍJa‘far
لِلَّهِ دَرُّكِ يا عَقيلَةَ جَعفَرٍ
ماذاwhat وَلَدتِyou have borne مِنَof العُلاglory وَالسُؤدَدِand nobility
ماذا وَلَدتِ مِنَ العُلا وَالسُؤدَدِ
God be praised for your excellence, O noble lady of Ja‘far!
To God is your worth, O Aqilah daughter of Ja'far
What glory and nobility you have brought forth!
What have you given birth to of nobility and glory!
إِنَّindeed الخِلافَةَthe caliphate قَدcertainly تَبَيَّنَbecame clear نورُهاits light
إِنَّ الخِلافَةَ قَد تَبَيَّنَ نورُها
لِلنّاظِرينَto those who look عَلىupon جَبينِbrow مُحَمَّدِMuhammad
لِلنّاظِرينَ عَلى جَبينِ مُحَمَّدِ
Indeed, the caliphate’s light has become manifest
Indeed the caliphate, its light has become clear
To those who gaze, upon Muhammad’s brow.
