دَخَلتُم فَأَفسَدتُم قُلوباً بِمُلكِكُم

دَخَلتُم فَأَفسَدتُم قُلوباً بِمُلكِكُم

فَأَنتُم عَلى ما جاءَ في سورَةِ النَملِ

فَأَنتُم عَلى ما جاءَ في سورَةِ النَملِ

You entered and corrupted hearts through your rule;

so you are in accord with what is said in the Surah of the Ants.

وَبِالعَدلِ وَالإِحسانَ لَم تَتَخلَّقوا

وَبِالعَدلِ وَالإِحسانَ لَم تَتَخلَّقوا

فَلَستُم عَلى ما جاءَ في سورَةِ النَحلِ

فَلَستُم عَلى ما جاءَ في سورَةِ النَحلِ

Yet you have not adopted justice and benevolence as virtues;

so you are not in accord with what is said in the Surah of the Bees.
