1. صدورٌ فَوقَهنّ حِقاقُ عاجٍ

    وَدُرُّ زانَهُ حُسنُ اِتِساقِ

    Bosoms with ivory caskets above them,

    And pearls adorned by the beauty of their arrangement.

  2. يَقول القائِلون إِذا رَأوه

    أَهَذا الدُرُّ مِن تِلكَ الحقاق

    Those who speak say, when they see them:

    “Are these pearls from those caskets?”
