فَخْرٌ وهمْ للورى فخر إذا افتخروا

For all the sons of Abd al-Haqq, you are

You are the pride of Abd al-Haq's sons altogether

A source of pride; and they are humankind’s pride when they boast.

And they are the pride of mankind when they boast

فحسبُكم شرفاً أن كان جدُّكم

فحسبُكم شرفاً أن كان جدُّكم

برِّ بن قيسٍ وقيسٌ جدُّه مُضر

برِّ بن قيسٍ وقيسٌ جدُّه مُضر

So it is honor enough for you that your forefather was

Your ancestry alone is honor enough
