A leaning toward some direction is inevitable, so do not

One must lean towards a direction, so do not

reproach a noble man for an inclination.

Deny the generous man who leans

إن الفؤاد وإن توسَّط في الحشا

إن الفؤاد وإن توسَّط في الحشا

ليميلُ في جهة الشمال قليلا

ليميلُ في جهة الشمال قليلا
