Love is a meaning whose secret cannot be encompassed

By description, nor does any likeness apply to it.

Like electricity, which cannot be grasped,

And whose breeze descends, flowing freely.

And so it is with souls: their action is manifest,

While their potent secret is hidden from us.

Wise truths gripped by obscurity; no discourse has encompassed

Their symbols in all the world.
