I say, while the tender narcissus's eye gazes:

Will you not doze, so a lovesick lover may find bliss?

What bars me from pleasure is your staring

At me, while a talebearer hovers about me.

O Lord, even in the gardens there are eyes

That cast the evil eye on me whenever my days turn fair.

And even the dream-phantom withholds union

From me; even among the fragrant plants there is a talebearer.
