    It has spared it the stigma of a flaw;

A worthy foundation renews its perfection.

God's eye watches over it with care,

So no eye casting evil upon it can scheme.

May you endure, with the sun of your favor never hidden,

And your palace numbered among its rising-places.

You raise a beacon for every noble deed,

And the Lord of the Throne supports what you raise.

At every dawn you reveal a glory

    Whose fame everlasting eternity renews.

May no neighboring domain of wind or star,

Active or still, withstand your soaring might.

And from obedience and submission to you,

May neither hearts nor endeavors fall behind.

May no ear turn away, nor any tongue,

Nor any eye, from praise and witnessing.

May noble virtues never lose the shade

Of your reign, to which immortality is due.

May there continually shelter all creatures under its covenant

The ample shade of security and comfortable life.

And may the date they inscribed disclose greater joy:

For Sadiq, true in his care, stands the blessed palace.
