شرفا لم يحوه المشرقان
A reign through which the two Wests gained
The state where the two Maghrebs attained
an honor the two Easts never possessed.
Glory not attained by the two Mashriqs

ولها بالمصطفين يدان
How could a hand not reach out from it,
How can a hand not extend from it
when, in the two Mustafas, it has two hands?
When through the two Mustafas it has two hands
فيدso a hand منfrom مصطفىMustafa للندىfor bounty
فيد من مصطفى للندى

ويد من مصطفى للسنان
So one hand from Mustafa is for bounty,
A hand from Mustafa for dew
and one hand from Mustafa is for the spearpoint.
And a hand from Mustafa for the tooth

Thus the two, on the day of battle and hospitality,
For on the day of Al-Wugaa and Al-Quraa
have within them two gushing springs.
In them there were two gushing springs

the two seas are set flowing, meeting one another.
The two seas meet

برزخا للفصل لا يبغيان
They took their namesake's counsel
They took counsel called them
as a dividing barrier; neither transgresses.
An isthmus to separate yet they do not wish

May they ever remain sharp swords in the right hands of faith,
They remain on the oaths of faith, swords
and bountiful seas in the left hands of affluence.
And on the giving of giving, green blades
