مُقامٌ فضلهُ كالشمسِ بادي

مُقامٌ فضلهُ كالشمسِ بادي

لِمُحرزِ خصل سلطنةِ البلادِ

لِمُحرزِ خصل سلطنةِ البلادِ

A maqām whose merit, like the sun, is manifest,

A shrine whose excellence is as plain as the sun,

For one who has attained the traits of sovereignty over the lands.

For Muhriz, winner of the prize of sovereignty over the land.

تَعرّض فيهِ للنفَحاتِ وَاِسأل

تَعرّض فيهِ للنفَحاتِ وَاِسأل

مُناكَ بِه تنل أقصى المرادِ

مُناكَ بِه تنل أقصى المرادِ

There, make yourself receptive to the wafts, and ask

Open yourself there to the breaths of grace, and ask

Your wish through it—you shall attain the utmost desire.

For your wishes through him; you will attain your utmost desire.
