حيَّتْكsaluted you جامعةٌa university وضعتَyou laid أساسهاits foundation

ومنَحتهاand you gave it اسمَكyour name زينةَadornment of الأسماءnames
ومنَحتها اسمَك زينةَ الأسماء
A university has saluted you—you laid its foundation
Your university that you laid its foundation
And gave it your name, the adornment of names.

العلمlearning قدindeed أهدىbestowed قلادتهits necklace إلىupon

Indeed, we have known kingship to extend its hand
